I hope this game has some decent destructible environments and tools for users to make sweet mods and maps. This could be a great game. Title for posterity

Yeah this game has so much potential, it could really be the new liero, with a nice amount of different modes (I would kill for a fully destructible terrain mode, please team17), and proper mod support this could become one of those games where I spend hundred of hours

We played LieroX so much when we were kids. Even if this game is going to be very different in gameplay, I have high hopes it will manage to have similar levels of customization.

I remember waking up at 5 in the morning before school to walk 6 or so blocks to my friends house and bang on his window every morning for what felt like a month just to have a 2p in that game. We usually made stupid maps with teeny cave entrances to protect us from the increased fire rate of the insane cluster bomb weapons, great memories of rapid fire no reload sniper battles where each shot sends you flying the opposite direction. Even playing the game totally blown out like that creates intense strategy

For anyone interested, I have made a Liero inspired game, with just local MP and controller support. It adds its own style and features, and a more modern twin stick control scheme.
