In this game with like 5 DLC
I have played so far without any mods at all (no ToyBox or anything, people tell cool stuff about uses for it though), but this seems cool, i mean just having more dialogue is always a nice bonus! ^^
So thanks, will use this when i start my next playthrough!
Maybe it's time to do my 1st ever Azata hmm..
Owlcat wins it spiritually every year. Even when not competing in any awards, even when no new titles out. I mean truth be told, somehow they managed to make WotR feel fresh again this year with several updates/DLC giving reasons and enjoyment on new playthroughs. Does not happen with many games, not years after release. Most studios often just kinda abandon their games fast these days. Owlcat did make lots of improvements over years and clearly based on many updates they took feedback into consideration, delivering many player requests over time. =)
A map editor and everything around it would be nice, so that crazy people can add new content as a mod.
Было бы здорово, если бы вы когда-нибудь всё же добавили озвученный роман с Вольжифом в игру. Многие игроки были бы рады :)
Love this game but reading it all, makes me feel blind and takes forever lmao.
My respect to your writers.
Not only did they do an amazing job, but this shows true character.
Also Workshop is somewhat limited in what it can do - Workshop can only install mods in one way and one "location". It's the same reason things like script extenders, and ENB can't be done via workshop (though to be fair, ENB binaries aren't permitted to be uploaded anywhere but their main site).
I would also guess that Valve doesn't have the time or desire to create additional modding tools or managers when there are folks already doing that, it would cost money and bandwidth.
Plus, when Valve hosts mods and creations on Workshop they go out of their way to prevent anyone who doesn't have the game on Steam from getting them. Project Zomboid is a great example of that, folks used to be able to easily download PZ mods for use with the GOG version, but Steam clamped down on that by complicating the download paths - someone eventually created a download util that could download mods just by providing the mod page address so Steam prevented access to that, but it was still possible using SteamCMD a sort of developer tool. Steam nixed that too by going so far as to make downloading mods require logging in to Steam and checking if the account also had the game on it before allowing the download. It was effectively too late for Project Zomboid, but going forward from that most games that offer Workshop support acknowledge that they'll be alienating players on other platforms and most would prefer not to do that.
