It IS tied to main game, though - we see game's events from different perspective, meet game's characters and give the original game some new loot....

You dont have to buy it if u think it is a rip off. It is DLC, it is optional extra content.
I dont think the price is that bad and there are often discount events to get it cheaper.

Про 15 архетипов это офигенный сюрприз для меня. Спасибо, что прислушиваетесь. Дополнительный контент для основной кампании — лучшие дополнения.

A bit late to the party.

i am excited for the new spells and subclases, not so much for the DLC story. I wish the focus would have been main game only.

As others have already said, please owlcat flesh out the last chapter of the campaign!
It is a bit like with Kingmaker where you bring out a wonderful game but the last part nearly ruins it. It is too tedious and being max level makes fighting countless battles meaningless.
I fear the extra dungeons will only make us rech max level faster so the issue gets worse.

Although could we pleeaase change The Enigma? I think it is the most hated dungeon by the fans, super tedious and way too long. That it is only avaiable in chapter 5 makes it worse because you are not even excited for the exp. But the main problem is that it is tied to a companion quest so we have to deal with the it if we want to complete it. I know youi put effort and heart into it but what I read most people, myself included, use cheats to not have to deal with it - it is just not as much fun as you might have hoped.

Please reconsider adressing these issues, I for one would gladly pay for it since WotR is my all time favorite PC game.

Хмм....А ведь это и правда прецедент. Если прокатит - мы реально увидим такую тактику в будущем и у других проектов.

On the shop site it says 6 to 7 hours.

About 8-10 hours. Yes, similar to the Through the Ashes DLC

If I buy this DLC you'll overhaul the mythic paths, right? Some are less rounded than others

That particular game shouldnt have been baldur's gate at all to begin with.
It even looks much closer to Neverwinter Nights 2 than to Baldurs Gate, so, maybe they should have used that one as a starting point?

However, DnD franchise ended for me with 4 edition coming out, so I'm heavily biased now. Haven't seen anything worthy to return to ever since.

well i mean i do get what your saying. never winter 2 was a personal fave of mine back in the day though i wont lie. i do stick with what i said though. however, I can say also that they should have just choose a different name. or if they kept the name since we're essentially playing digital campaign. for example, baldurs gate: decent into avernus. that games campaign takes place before bg3 right, if anything i think larian should have called the game baldurs gate: the Illithids plot or some generic name that explains the goal. that way it would have met both way the fans who loved the first bg games and ppl who are just interested in dnd 5e.
