Forest of Forgotten Spirits night time bug

So I am pretty sure I have a bug in the forest of Forgotten spirits where it never actually becomes night time. There is aparently a crate near the entrance with midnight lillies in it and that doesn't show up for me. Also the dawn and dusk gate only ever allows me to put in the dawn key, never the dusk no matter what time of day I wait until.

Anybody else got this and if so have you managed to fix it?

I had this bug until I exited back to the village and slept at the bar, then it seemed to work.

Thank you! That was it, I spent all that time resting and skipping time within the forest, never even thought of going back to the village to sleep at the bar!
