Oracle is a full divine spellcasting class with spontaneous casting, and its casting stat is charcisma - so it is the divine counterpart to sorcerer, so to speak. It is not something you can "get" as sorcerer.

So an Angel Oracle is an Oracle pursing the mythic path of the Angel and probably merging spellbooks for more fun and power.

Now, I haven't tried it, but I am pretty sure you can build an Angel Oracle that plays much like a blaster sorcerer, which may be what you've heard of?

Equip the oracle with e.g. Red Salamander ring to provide more fire spell variety than the oracle spell list provides, and pick up a single 1 level dip of crossblooded sorcerer with 2 draconic bloodlines (in this case fire) and Ascendant Element (fire), or alternatively one draconic and one elemental (to turn all energy damage types into one specific type, which you then have Ascendent Element for), if using even more equipment to get damage spells of different elements.

As an angle, i think mythic level 4, you can change all your damage to divine so the sorcerer dip isnt as required for blasting.

They also make very good hybrids. One of the holy sword traits gives you 2 additional attacks on a full attack action (doesn't stack with haste) AND makes all your 7th level or lower spells quickened. Very easy to get 6+ attacks a round and cast a spell. Angels also have some of the best melee buffs in the game.

Clerics/Oracles have always been viewed as a very good middle of the road melee/caster hybrid. Not as good melee as a full martial, not as good a spellcaster as an arcane. Angle supercharges them on that path and makes them a quite good melee and caster.

They can 100% play as a blaster when you start getting the angel spells and like peter said, don't forget the red salamander ring.

If you like a detailed explanation of a very well made Angel Oracle build capable of blasting, buffing, and melee, I recommend this video (it also has a google docs spreadsheet):

Just make a Flame Mystery Oracle and you end up with a blaster... it's a common Table Top build and considered one of the better builds for the oracle.
