Mythic Path gold dragon sucks.
In my game im a Neutral good mythic Gold dragon and the only things i can see missing are +10 str and +8 con, bet its one more of the many many bugs in the game.
But there are no upsides for my Fighter(14)/sorcerer(1)/dragon disciple(4) to turn into a gold dragon, i loose 2 attacks (it goes down to 2, can only attack with claws, likely another bug),I loose 9 Attack bonus going from 47 to 38, I loose 5 AC going from 48 down to 43, damage goes from 26-38 to 17-27, the saves remain about the same.
So to sum it up I loose 2 attacks, i loose 9 attack bonus, i loose 5 AC and i loose 9-11 damage on each attack, but gain immunity to Cold, Electricity, Fire, Acid and Negative energy, which is great against spell casters which most demons are not really.

It seems the bug isn't limited to the Mythic path transformation, but rather, any source of Form of the Dragon once you took the Gold Dragon path. Might affect other transformations too, can't test that currently. Anyway, the bug isn't with the ability, but with some other part of the mythic path.

Though i'm not sure why you're loosing that much AC, AC bonuses are still working for me and should outstrip the loss from size gain.

Oh i forgot to mention, that all the "stats goes up to Minimum 14(18 later)" dont work either.

Actually, it does. There is an "Other" bonus that should be exactly the difference between your base stat and 14/18(unless it's higher).

I'm kinda guessing that's exactly what's causing the other problem, since it's the only part that's interacting with those stats. Also discovered that it's apparently not limited to transformations, either; it seems to be blocking all kinds of buffs affecting them.

On that note, i think i remember why your AC is down. Any transformation disables AC from armour and shields because, well, you're no longer wielding them. This is not a bug, it's how they are supposed to work.
Since you have a level in Sorc and obviously Draconic Bloodline, i suggest getting Archmage Armor.

So weird, that my initial 14 int from creation, is still 14 after becomming a full dragon... here is somethinhg even weirder, My character has the +4 perfect body belt (+4 to con, str, dex) on since before he became a full dragon, i just tried to switch it to a different but similar belt and the stat bonuses from the new belt never got added, they just dissappeared, then i tried to reequid the old belt and surprise surprise the old belts bonuses dont work either. when i load the game, its all back to normal with the +4 perfect body belt giving bonuses.

First boost only gets you up to 14, so your 14 int would stay at 14 int. You only get 18 on the second rank of Gold Dragon.

Also, yes, that's probably another incarnation of the same bug, seems it ignores all bonuses after it got calculated and reloading forces a reinitialisation of the character, with gear being calculated before Gold Dragon bonus. Hopefully this'll help Owlcat homing in on the cause, or at least find a work-around.

I am second rank Dragon (10 lvl mythic)... still only 14 int.

Feel free to bug report these things (ALT+B), if you haven't already.

Yeah it's a bug. The boost to 18 only kicks in if your stat changes after you got the boost to 14. So at lvl 20 if I spend a point in an attribute thats at 11, being boosted to 14, it gets the boost to 18.

I wonder if that's actually the same bug as the other stuff, with the increase forcing a recalculation that makes it correct the values. Still annoying.

At least the breath weapon works and is hostiles only, so you can just blast away at your leisure.

Edit: Turns out the bug goes both ways. I'm functionally immune to attribute damage. Seems whatever causes this prevents any attribute changes after it from being applied.

Edit 2: And another issue; when i use Gold Dragon form, it correctly applies the Rank 2 bonus to the stats Dragon Form should be increasing... except it doesn't replace the Rank 1 bonus, it just adds a second one. Seems the bonus stays on leaving form, so it's not the form bonus, but it'll reset when reloading, including zone changes.
It also seems to have been incorrectly capped, i only get +9 to my 8 Dex.

Go ahead and try to respec your character and let me know when you notice the broken part as Gold dragon.
Herr Glaube Sep 14, 2021 @ 12:20pm
Well, the Rank 2 attribute increase now applies properly(i.e. everything is raised to 18 if not higher already), but the path still prevents any attribute adjustments from applying as before.

Note: The baseline increase isn't actually listed anywhere, but if you check the numbers, you will see that you have 18 points before adjustments. E.g. Str will be listed as 10 baseline +2 from a belt of giant strength +2, but the total number will be 20.
