Improved improved critical feat?

When I'm choosing the improved critical feat I can see it's the prerequisite for Improved improved critical. I can't find Improved improved critical from the feat list. Is it for some specific class or mythic path?

Edit: also is it a waste of feat to take improved critical on succubus companion who gets the buff that makes the crit range go from 20(3x) to 19-20(3x)?

You need trickster for that and it keep going to like improved improved improved improved critical.

Yep, a very niche and very powerful option.

And yes, you can increase your critical range only by one source, they don't stack. The only exceptions to that are the trickster feat or the fighter capstone at level 20.

I think an always on bonus is always better than a buff you can use occasionally. If you're talking about Aspect of the Falcon, you'll still get the other bonuses when its on.

Actually, you can take these feats from Loremaster Secret. Unfortunately, loremaster does not allow you to take the same type of secret more than once, so you can not get all 3 trickster critical feats, only one :-(

Also, improved improved critical stacks with improved critical, meaning that improved improved critical increases your range by 2 and not 1.

I played as angel - Crusader(17) - Loremaster(3) and I was using scimitars.
Threat range / critical multiplier
18-20 x2 Naked scimitar
15-20 x2 Above + Improved Critical
15-20 x3 Above + Improved Critical (Mythic)
13-20 x3 Above + Improved Improved Critical from Loremaster Combat Secret

Then I took Blinding Critical from Loremaster with Loremaster Rogue Secret and yeah, it was fun.

As for Arue. Well, to take loremaster, you need :
Cast level 3 spells - Arue gets level 3 ranger spells on level 10
Skill focus and one metamagic. These made sense on my main character, but you have to take then kind of arbitrarily on Arue. If you do, you can have
20-20 x3 Naked Longbow
19-20 x3 Above + Improved Critical
17-20 x3 Above + Improved Improved Critical from Loremaster Combat Secret
17-20 x4 Above + Improved Critical (Mythic)
Which is 20% chance to crit to get quad damage.

FYI you can't get those feats from loremaster anymore. Trickster perception 2 only

The Arue part. 17-20 is not a "20% chance to crit to get quad damage". Also 15-20 is not a "20% chance to crit to get quad damage" if you cannot confirm the crit... There are enemies with immunity to critical hits too.
