Character Concept: 2 Grenadier Alchemist/18 Mutation Warrior Fighter - Bomb Focused

So I was trying out some build ideas, I know it's probably burning hot garbage, but I was thinking that because you don't get Sneak Attack to Bombs you could make up for it in Mystic Levels. - Mystic Weapon Focus & Specialization. - Not 100% sure if Throwing from the Fighter weapons applies for Bombs or not, but I took it anyways. But if you combine the concepts together, you get like +16 damage with Mystic Point Blank Shot, and Deadly Shot.

Never really got a chance to test the build at level, but is this a terrible idea if you want to focus on Bombs without hurting party members?

Thanks. I was mainly wondering if the build I had designed would even be worth attempting? Or would it be literally hot garbage and not even worth bothering with?

I don't recommend this. A grenadier is focused on close range attacks. A mutation warrior is focused on melee. Plus, be aware that there are no vests of stable mutation in the game. That means I'd stay away from advancing your mutagen. The only stat you can really dump safely is CHA, boosting your CON. Boosting strength damages int, lowering bomb DC, number of bombs, base bomb damage, and extract DC. Enhancing dex damages your wisdom, and will is already your poor save as an alchemist.

Choose one or the other.
