Warpriest can be a pretty fun class with some great unique features.
First we have Sacred Weapon, which lets you upgrade the base weapon damage of your Deity Favored Weapon & also your weapon of choice based on class levels.
You can eventually achieve 6d8 even for small weapons like Kukris!
And then you also get to enchant your weapon with triple elemental damage just like Magus, for easy proccing of Elemental Barrage, meaning loads of extra irresistible damage per attack.
And as far as defense, you can also enchant your armor with Elemental Resistance, Spell Resistance and most importantly, up to 75 Fortification which means 75% to negate enemy critical hits and sneak attacks!
Your Warpriest Blessings can also add a lot of power to your character, as they actually work in an unique way when compared to Cleric Domains, for new benefits, like up to +10 Enhancement to AB that stacks with Weapon Enhancement, or +10 Morale to Damage.

The first build is a default Warpriest focused on 2H, with a Fauchard for not only extreme melee range but also critical range (10-20), for 50% critical chance and also crazy high damage on hit.

The second build is a Cult Leader Warpriest focused on dual wielding Kukris (6d8 base!) for even more Elemental Barrage proccing and damage.

Both go the Trickster Path for the insane critical range + multiplier increase that also apply to ALL your party members, even pets, , and when combined with teamwork feats, let you absolutely drown the enemy in massive chains of free attacks from Attack of Opportunity.
And you even get a full Wizard spellbook at Chapter 5, meaning you get to have Divine spellcasting up to level 6, and FULL arcane spellcasting late game!
