mixed-blood rager downsides vs primalist
I've been looking at the mixed-blood rager and it seems pretty cool but I can't figure out what it loses compared to other bloodragers. And is it primalist still better then it?

Also when are you able to cast spells as a mixed-blood? I've hit level 4 but don't seem to have any spells to cast.

The main selling point for primalist is that you can replace bloodline spells with two rage powers. So you are basically a barbarian that can cast spells and doesn't have an alignment restriction.

and what are the downsides if any of the mixed-blood rager subclass?

You already said it: you lose spellcasting. (Except the free spells once per bloodrage for each tier of Arcane Bloodrage in the Arcane bloodline.)

Also, you lose bonus feats, but I'm not sure this one is intended.

Also Mixed Blood is super pointless.
Like, yeah, you can change bloodlines on rest...but you can just *have* 2 bloodlines at once via mythic stuff anyways. So it's just actively gimping yourself for no actual return on investment.
honestly because of mythic second bloodline mixed and crossed bloodlines are kind of pointless. Since any sorc or bloodrager can get a second bloodline and have zero penalties. Primalist is generally considered to be better in most cases.
