Sword saint weapon choice? (dex-based SS)
So, as the title says, looking for suggestions on what a good weapon for SS is. Given that respec for your main character can apparently mess up the game pretty badly right now, I don't want to do that, but I also don't want to discover that there are no good weapons of the type I picked, since you're so dedicated to one kind of weapon.
Estoc, falcata and bastard sword are the options that seem to offer the best options in terms of raw stats for one-handed weapons, but I'm worried about spending half the game with a suboptimal weapon because I picked something rare.

Estoc / dueling sword

U can even get background for dueling sword without even speccing into it. Which gives you + 1 attack and proficiency. So right off the bat you would get a + 2 weapon attack with focus weapon.

If you want a higher crit rate then estoc .

If you go elf then elven curved blade

You dont have to worry about finding weps. Game gives you a free cold iron at the start AS long as you have a focus wep and finnean the swiss army knife can be found fast as well

if it still work like in Pathfinder kingmaker. You can choose any 1h slashing or piercing . You take weapon finess, weapon focus ( ex: Battle axe) after that you take slashing grace battle axe and now your battle axe is finessable and add dex bonus on damage. Or weapon focus heavy pick fencing grace heavy pick and it do the same. but i didnt tested it if it work in wrath

Choosing to go DEX-based reduces your damage by around 20% even if you find a way to get DEX-to-damage. Once you make that choice, you're far enough away from top-tier DPS that you don't have to worry too much about which weapon to pick. Wrath is also MUCH better than Kingmaker about offering a wide variety of quality weapons, so it matters less from that perspective as well.

Oh, I know it's not optimal damage. I'm mostly just trying to avoid the situation I had in Kingmaker where you could commit to a weapon type and then discover there are exactly three magic versions of that weapon in the entire game.
Anyways, sounds like it's less of an issue here, which was the big thing I was concerned about.

Im str base and i went with a great axe with my Eldritch scion and dont regret it . There is alot of great axe . But there is 7 different falcata, 8 Bastard sword and 8 Estoc in game. so they are all good choice.
