Anyway not to kill Kyado in temple?

So I found the temple of Erastil and want to go to the basement to get the bow and armor but since I am not trickster or Angel poor Kyado just blows up. Wondering if there is anyway to avoid this or the price to pay to get that sweet sweet loot?

You'll get the option to go back there for another quest later in Act 3. If you pep talked up but didn't go into the basement, then he'll be cured at that point and you can head down safely.

Don't go down there until he's killed the creature that cursed him, then you can take the stuff without him dying.

Ah so assume I can get it after ivory tower quest? Although I read only Angel can get him to kill the person that cursed him, can non angels do that too once they find the person hiding there after Ivory Tower?

If it was Angel exclusive, then I can't comment how it would play out on other paths since that was the one I was running when I did it.

Trickster path allows you to lawyer your way down without the curse triggering.. but I think later in the act he will end up dying anyway.

Trickster solution is genius. He is a priest in whose temple is a shrine to Baphomet. That technically makes him a priest of Baphomet, so he can induce you as a the Demon Lord's "cultists" on a technicality. This way he does not allow entrance to a non-cultist and is safe from the curse.

I am azata and tbh the guy kinda brought it on himself but it's more that I am afraid of loosing a good vendor! Does anybody replace him like he replaced Ramius?
