What Race should I choose when creating my character to get the most out of the game from a dialogue standpoint
Ok this is a very interesting one that being something that has driven me up the wall. That being I'd like to know which race gets the most unique and interesting dialogue remarks through the game. Now I know for a fact that your character's Race and choice of Deity does allow for some VERY interesting dialogue paths and things to happen, I'm trying to create a character that gets the most out of it. Also class does NOT matter, I referring to the race you choose during character creation.

Choosing half elf apparently got me some extra rangers. I can't think of much else where it has been impactful, though. Green Faith religion helps you with Leper's Smile.

I chose aasimar proclaimer warpriest. It just felt really cool

(It's a pity two of its iconic skills are bugged at lvl 19 - 20, but it doesn't matter if you focused on the angel path)

If you opt to worship Pharasma and then pick the Lich Mythic Path, then you will have a lot to answer for in a late-game quest and potentially if you opt to sacrifice yourself. Worshiping Iomedae or Desna gets you a lot of bonus dialogue since both gods are directly meddling in the plot and the devs really, REALLY like Desna. Worshiping the revenge goddess grants a tangible benefit in several revenge-focused encounters, with her offering a free temporary blessing to help you out. Atheism allows you to call out or taunt pretty much every (un)divine being you meet, more than you already can.

Kitsune has an absurd amount of bonus dialogue, since they were the backer voted class. Nenio has a lot to say about you being a fellow fox, several powerful characters will comment on how they can see through your human disguise (even if you have literally never used your human form), many will comment that they have never seen a kitsune before (Tian Xia is extremely far away from this game's region), and Charming Minx on the Azata path has a hilarious extra exchange if you're also a kitsune.

In terms of class, most pure martial classes (monk, fighter, etc.) have almost nothing to say. Oddly, being a Hellknight offers surprisingly little bonus dialogue despite having a Hellknight party member and several quests focused on working with Hellknights. Druids and paladins both get some unique responses due to having very personal stakes in the crusade against the Worldwound, and also having a paladin party member and a Druid Shifter party member if you have the Sarkorian DLC.

hmm. you get a fair number of hits on most of the races other than pure human. Seems like dhampir has a number of extras, due to the innkeeper & travelling vendor alone, + various others. Tieflings have extras, esp early on. I don't recall hardly any orc / elf / half elf/ human / gnome / halfling. It may be there in places but not many.
