How does the game run on the steam deck?
I see that rogue trader is actually fully verified while wrath of the righteous barely is...what's up with that?

It works fine. It has playable status, because for a long time there was no controller support and they still haven't updated status. With performance though it will get laggy as you progress. I was able to get stable 30-40 fps. I noticed trying to get 41 fps is a good compromise. I was playing on older SD model though. It might have better performance on OLED.
This thing causes problems on many PCs (and Steam Deck) because it's Unity. The only games that have ever caused my PC to overheat and crash have been U games like Tyranny or Wasteland. Seeing as my PC more than meets the required specs, it's a poorly optimized Unity issue.

Well if that's the case then I'm better off grabbing rogue trader and it's season pass, since it's shows verified..I have the OLED so it might run better for me. Thanks

Out of curiosity I loaded my old act 5 save on my steam deck and had around 40-42 fps idle and 36-38 fps during combat. Played on graphical low preset. So still playable. Probably the biggest issue is battery life which drains really fast. I saw drop from 50 to 44% while I was writing this post. So do with that information what you want. Probably with OLED it should last longer.

this right here is what I think is what is wrong with my Deck. Steam wants me to pay $130 to get it fixed.

I was playing this game on my Deck, and it crashed, and ever since, no matter what I do, the Screen itself does not turn on. its been like 6 months now and i'm still pissed off about it.

Yeah, it actually said something like "graphic card error, must reboot" when it blue-screened. I have never seen that before on any other game.

I had something similar when I played Shadow of War. It just short circuted when I was running around. I was lucky though I was still under warranty and they replaced it with no issues. I guess it was a problem with early models.

Another reason that solidifies my decision on not getting this game and getting rogue trader instead. If they marked it as steam deck verified it probably means it's more optimized than pathfinder

Steam verified doesn't mean much. It's only placed once and not changed even if game had substantial changes like WOTR did. It's best practice is to use it only as sugestion and not a fact.

Rogue Trader is awesome on my Deck, have an OG LCD 512gig model.

I think you said you have an Oled version, will look even better.

I constantly go back and forth on my Deck/PC, just remember to upload your cloud saves from your desktop session before taking your Deck on the toilet :D

I really want to play WOTR once I'm finished with RT (incredible game) sad to hear it's not as optimized for the Deck.
