Gundrum Swarmbane Clasps

So I know there's one you get for completing the Restless Spirit quest, then there's one you get for completing the Quarantine quest. Then there's a bunch the vendor in Gundrum sells. But on Reddit there's a post that mentions there's a burried chest outside of town that has one. I've been allover in both current time and the alternate universe version of Gundrum and there's no chest with a clasp anywhere, hidden or no. Anyone know where to find this last one?

I'm not entirely sure since I missed it myself, but I know I saw mention of a chest there in a guide I looked at. The thing is, the point in the guide where it says to loot the chest is as the bodies are being burned outside the entrance on your first visit. But when I went and looked later, there was no chest. That makes me wonder if there's actually a very small window when the chest can be looted.

Of course It's also possible that the chest is simply bugged and won't show up.

The people outside of town near the fire show up when you speak to Ysenna in town. But there's no chest near them or at any point in time.

I went to the pyre right after speaking with Ysenna for the first time right after the fight at the gate. Holgan will be there next to a pyre burning the bodies together with some villagers. Behind the lookout tower there's a manual "perception check" which reveals the chest.

It's at the village entrance where you have the battle with the townsfolk and the swarms when you first get there. After speaking to Ysenna go back to the entrance there will be a pyre where they are burning the bodies. Next to this pyre is a watch tower as you can see in the image I posted. Beyond there next to a tree is the interaction point.

Thank you! Unfortunately, there’s no interaction point in my game at the spot you mentioned next to the watchtower. Perhaps it was removed in a recent update, or I might need to talk to the townsfolk first, in addition to Ysenna. Strange…

Yea I think you need to talk to the people around the Pyre maybe?

I had the same problem and I found the exact requirements:

1. Only available while pyre is burning: after you clear the initial swarms, go to Ysenna and chat, then come back to the front gate and witness the pyre.
2. While pyre is burning talk to all the generic NPCs: one of them will say "i was strolling and someone sussy was digging around the house back there".
3. Magnifying glass icon appears with Perception DC 29 (probably changes with difficulty?) to reveal the box.

Box has the Swarmbane Clasp, 200g, +1 CI Earth Breaker and +2 Speed Keen Comp Longbow and some junk.

That loot makes it pretty enticing to visit early, so long as you can deal with the ~6 swarms.
