Can't leave Murky Grotto after finishing the midnight isles dlc.

So, I just beat the final boss and broke his chain, after the quick convo with Nocticula i get abruptly tranferred to the murky grotto.
Except there is no way to leave, no way to go back into the cave either. i know the way to leave here was already covert where the icon was hidden behind the rocks, but now there is nothing here. I'm stuck. Saving and reloading, resting, nothing works.

Help.

Yes a bunch of us have been reporting this problem after the latest patch. Use ALT-B in game to report it. The more of us that report it in game the faster they will probably fix it!

Use Toybox to teleport to global map. With this game you have to use mods to progress through, even tho the game was released 3 years ago.

I may have to do that since I'm so close to finishing the game, just threshold left.

That said, this is the first time in many many hundreds of hours I've had to consider using a mod of any sort. It's been fine until now!

It was actually 100% fine until the latest patches. They broke EVERYTHING.

Yeah not sure why the latest patches are so wonky compared to the relatively smooth patches of the past. Maybe something about the new DLC?

Will installing and using toybox to teleport out of the grotto kill achievements or anything else? I really want to finish what I expect is my final playthrough!

Nah, it should work. I consistently teleport out of place to avoid backtracking and i never had a problem.
The only warning i give you is to NEVER use that function when you are in special dungeons like the entire chapter 4, or it will teleport you out of alushinyrra without any way to go back in
