I am assuming that this is not a complete list. You can check it yourself here.
https://pathfinderwiki.com/wiki/Wrath_of_the_Righteous
Are these two DLC characters? don't remember seeing them in the game.
I pulled names form the Adventure path Wiki not from the computer game wiki.
ooohh Aron is the cleric in the tent i think, gotcha.
Chief Sull shows up as well.
Also your friend is incorrect. Both Lann AND Wenduag are present in the first book when you're in Neathholm.
Hosilla.
Jerribeth.
Kestoglyr
The Fulsome Queen
Alderpash
The Suture
On smaller-name NPCs...
Chaleb (the guy burning people in the library),
Faxon (the cultist above the museum)
Othirubo (alchemist with a bunch of cultists you can run into in Gray Garrison)
Nulkineth (the demon who leads the attack on the camp)
Mutasafen (jerk demon alchemist who takes a few attempts to actually kill)
Gelderfang (Battlebliss)
Vellaxia
There's possibly more but too much effort to read more closely.
EDIT: Note this list is in addition to names confirmed earlier. As far as I can tell though, Camellia, Regill and Daeran did not exist in the original AP.
As a side note, Wenduag's original illustration is so much cuter than her portrait in WotR. I'm particularly fond of her reptilian feet.
Was mainly asking about specifically the playable companion characters, i figured most of the NPC's in the video game would also be NPC's in the tabletop game :P
Funnily enough the TV Tropes page does mention who is a 'Canon Foreigner' for the rest.
Except Woljif. I guess he might be it because he was a stretch goal? But I honestly don't remember seeing him anywhere.
