Get rid of Baleful Polymorph?
Is there another way thanto reload at least 20 times?
The character with "BreakEnchantment" is the one that is polymorphed, so my only chance are scrolls read by an NPC priest - or a party member and they need to roll a 20 apparently to succeed.
I also could have Sosiel learn it, move outside the city gates, cast the spell and move back again to get my usual party ... but is there seriously no way that doesn't take ages and jumping though a dozen hoops?

If it's a companion, kill and resurrect them. Otherwise you have to break the curse via a spell or potion.

Or lower the difficulty to Normal and rest in Drezen.

Yeah, I know that. My point was that I couldn't do that with the current group. I've already reloaded roughly a dozen times and each time it was a fail.
Anyway, I did it by leveling up sosiel, resting, having him cast the spell ... and now I go back to Drezen to gather my party.
It sucks. I have no idea why they couldn't have the NPCs be able to cast powerful enough spells for stuff like that.

But yeah, the lowering difficulty and resting bit is something I'll do next time, thanks.

Do you have any scrolls of Polymorph, Greater? The ones you can cast on another party member? That should overwrite the baleful polymorph, at which point the character should have a button in the actions tab that will convert them back to the normal form.

For this type of roll, a natural 20 is not an automatic success.

Yes, echoing this you need to succeed the DC for a removal of curse/disease spell (possibly also poison, not sure). You can't succeed on a 20. It makes scrolls and potions almost useless.

Death cures it, you might want to resurrect character afterwards. ( breathe of life or something. ) Funnily bringing someone back to life is easier than get rid of curses

Doesn't work with the MC, though. and of course it was the MC.
But the resting thing and polymorph against polymorph are useful advice for any char.

The game has myriads of horrible design choices thta simply drain out the fun.
Just use ToyBoy and don't worry, it has nothing to do with cheating.
Simply see the game as still in early access (what it is) until they balanced it out

Rolling a one against this spell feels badman.
