How long is this game?

I just started act 3 and I checked the world map and it seems seriously daunting. 72 hours in and I've only explored 1/4th the map?

Well I've put in over 700 hours into the game. Over multiple playthroughs of course.
Its fairly long with all the DLCs. Certainly got my money's worth.

It depends on whether you use turn based or real time combat, the difficulty setting and how much of the content you do.

If you were to use real time combat at a difficulty where fights end in a minute or two.. maybe 200 hours for a completionist if you do all the dlcs as well.

I'm playing on core using turnbased. Trying to be as completionist as I can

Yeah, that sounds about right. Act 1 and 2 are like 25% of the game.

it depends how you play really. first playthrough reading all the dialogue i think i was at 100 hours but i rushed act 5 as i got a bit burnt out and wanted to end

i think act 3 is the longest especially when you do absolutely everything you can before moving into act 4.

It took me roughly 260hrs base game at launch that was solo unfair (except for companion quests) and i was going extremely slow listening to all dialogue, i'm waiting for all the DLCs to play again, so i can't say the length when including the DLCS that intertwine with the main campaign.

I took about 200 hours for the whole thing with the first 4 or 5 islands of MIdnight Isles in the main campaign. (I couldn't progress further there). Started out playing rtwp but played lots of fights in turnbased mode later.
Of course I read all the dialogue and clicked my way through most of the questions there, explored all the dungeons completely and I did almost all optional quests. (Minus Nenio's puzzle things and Camellia's later quests).

Without Turn Based i Took around 200 hrs to beat my first run LOL doing every damn thing probably a bit less because i screw up a lot buids

If you consider some other DLCs it goes around another 100 to 200 hours depending on the dificulty

And if you do other mythic paths expect around 100 hrs each if you do everything
