For a first run, do you recommend playing the base game or playing it directly with the DLC?
If you enjoy the game, you will play through all content it provides naturally. If not - well, why bother asking.
Trough the Ashes and Lord of Nothing can be safely ignored but I'd say you should play it. All the other DLCs are integrated into the main campaing and The Lord of Sarkoris one might even be mistaken for something that was already there. I'd say play with them all for the complete experience.
Tough Through the Ashes should be the first or else you don't get the reward if you finish the first half of chapter 1 before you complete through the ashes.
