Magus gets 2 attacks per round at level 2?
This doesn't seem right. I have touch of fatigue right clicked (so my character auto-casts it, then spell-strikes with her sword). But somehow, I'm casting and then getting two attacks off. What is going on?

Working as intended. One attack from bab, then one attack from spellstrike.

I thought the idea is that you use your 1 hand to cast a spell (and then apply it to your weapon) and the second hand to swing the (now enchanted) weapon. This is strange to me that you can swing twice. Is the idea that you swing once and then "swing" with your spell?

Basically, yeah. It comes with the disadvantage that you need to cast in melee and make a concentration check everytime and risk getting AoO'd and you get a attack penalty of -2 on all attacks. It's still good, but not "free".

The magus is similar to dual wielding - blade and spell. Another POV, Magus is similar to monk - spellstrike or flurry

So long as your in melee you can even cast range spells. Lightning bolt and Chain lightning were spells I frequently used (Used the Mythic ability that lets you ignore immunities). And depending on your archtype/path you can even add claw attacks to the mix. So Magus can get some pretty rediculous amount of attacks. But at level one you cast through your weapon so to speak. Then 2 onward so long as you have a free hand you get your bab+spellcast. Though have to be careful and make absolutely certain the spell you cast is instant and that you are in melee when you do it. Or if you are not in melee when you do cast it, that it's a melee range spell.
