Cant get rogue finesse training with sawtooth saber.
Title says it all, Sawtooth sabers aren´t on the list for finesse training.
I belive that´s an oversight from Owlcat, kinda a shame really, had a fun build I wanted to try out with a level dip in rogue.
I guess I will have to wait 6 months or a year until they fix this.
Or somebody mods it, I guess.

Take mythic finesse?

Take Slashing grace, easier

I'm going 2 lvl dip for rogue (finesse + evasion + talent), and slashing grace

edit - I was wrong. Slashing grace is the only way to get dex to hit and damage on them.

That's a shame.

outside of weapon training of course. Shame mantis doesn't come with that.

Regardless, Rogue training shouldn't work with it as it's not a normally finesable weapon. Ever.

They made them Finesse weapons, so I thought they would add them to finesse training, so yeah, the RAW in Pathfinder is that they count as Light weapons only for dual wielding.

If they changed Sawtooth sabre to be a Finesse weapon then it should also be part of the rogue finesse ltraining list. Might as well report it as an oversight through alt+B.

I'm confused. I quickly made a new character and gave him Weapon finesse. It didn't work.

I don't see why it would as they're not finesse weapons in tabletop.

I looked It up and they gave the weapon the Finesse tag. I also tested the weapon and Weapon Finesse worked. mantis Zealot with one sawtooth sabre and Dex 20 and weapon FFocus gave Attack +6 (+0 BaB, +5 Dex and +1 Weapon Focus).

Owlcat makes some changes that deviate from the PnP version (which I am fine with as long as it makes sense). They changed Sawtooth sabre; instead of making it count as a light weapon when dual wielding it now is a Finesse weapon.

I made a new character and now it's working.

That is WEIRD. Unless I had some kind of stroke I swear it wasn't working the first time I checked.

Well, that means at least you can get it with mythic finesse.
