Half-Orc, Demon Mad-Dog With a dip in Titan Fighter
Does this build make sense, let say if I dip 3 levels in titan fighter, and the rest barbarian mad dog? With TWF and Combat Reflexes, improved initiative, power attack

Focusing on str, const and putting 15 points in dex for twf

Any opinions?

There is a tiefling subclass with +str and bite attack - i think bite stacking was changed at some point so it prolly wont stack with demon bite if thats what you were thinking of - not sure if thats how it currently works. if you dont care about reach weapons and wanted orc for the subclass bite that might be worth checking out. Either way demon bite would mean no reach weapons anyway as your char will always move in.

Titan Fighter doesnt require dex for TWF feats if you grab them from his class feature (depending on how many levels you wanna put into it). If you bring a skald anyway it might be worth just leveling that instead. Titan fighter also gets some class features to mitigate the pretty big penalties he gets early on for 2H weapons in 1H. The str bonus is the main appeal for double 2H and you only unlock the full str bonus later on (lvl9) in Titan fighter.

Also you can grab feats as long as your character meets the stat requirement with belts and stuff. So if you insist on mad dog you can probably cut a bit lower than 15dex if you dont mind waiting a bit for TWF feats.

Titan Fighter can weild two-handed weapons with a single hand, right?

and is good when you are not multispecing.

the two two handed weapon are the small bonus this arch type gets it the STR multiply it get's later.

for some reasons it has no access to weapon training feats (using normal feats) like effortless dual wielding and such (may have been fixed by now).

Yeah at L1 you get -2 acc. Soo that is like -7 for DW at low level. You also lose on pet levels. I am thinking atm Sable 3 Mad dog 14 Hunter 3. You could get some silly amount of attack of opportunity with combat reflexes. Hippogryph has very high dex. 14 rage power is advantage to confirm crit.

Yeah, pets are extremely strong, especially for demonslayer. The trip feels so powerful, at least in midgame, I don't know how it will be at endgame, I'm assuming the same.
