Sadly, it's still the giant key.
Oh well. Will still be great.
Also, it's large at level 1! Finally, an alternative (a really POWERFUL alternative) to the horse.
I must admit that it boggles my mind a bit that everything of real value like pounce comes from the animal companion progression rather than the class itself. All you lose out is some crappy looking bull rush attack by skipping out.
Memo to self: Never, ever play a Sable Company Marine unless the character is a believer of Abadar.
That actually sounds pretty cool.
Regardless, it's pretty tough to notice unless you zoom in with photo mode.
Charging damage bonuses (like Longspear bonus, spirited charge, mythic charge, Bracers of mighty roar, etc...) don't seem to work with flying attack, despite the description saying it's a charge.
Don't know if that's intended or an oversight.
Guess I'll issue a bug report to make sure.
Boar seems to be the strongest.
cool pet but huge L
not sure its worth, would probably just use whatshisface companion instead and get the same upsides AND demonslayer dip on top
The pet is one of the weakest stat-wise of the animal companions. Even the pet is an L.
