Witch and Shaman with Prot. Luck feels OP
So i am playing a sylvaan trickster rogue/bard currently and she will usually prot. luck/crackle my tank, then i also have camelia who can do the same and the hexes will also stack, basically makes your front line unkillable as enemies have to roll 3 times what is more than enough for a decent tank to not be hit, i think i would even survive unfair with my current party, did I just pick the strongest thing i could get? beside pets of course, selaah has one and my wenduag also has one, act I been quite easy so far, i guess my dmg is quite low with 2 support guys/gals and it requires a lot micro but been quite solid so far

Only really need 1 big damage dealer for unfair and an okay 2nd damage dealer. I take two martials usually mutagen warrior and a demon slayer or really anyone that has something for strong personal AB buffs. The hardest part on unfair is getting your AB high enough for anyone that aren't touch/casters. Half of unfair is surviving the other half is having party members that can reliably hit. Whatever you end up doing build your entire party around your MC.

They allow more options to be viable on unfair difficulty, without them, all you'd be left with would be gishes tanks with high dps and high DC casters controllers/killers.
Or a bunch of kineticists.
They are basically what saves this game's higher difficulty compared to say, Kingmaker.
And their "OPness" is basically allowing other characters to shine and survive even on higher difficulties.
On top of that, where they really shine is low level gameplay, where the game is harder due to the design of the ruleset (and some questionable design decisions, like putting a mini "time-attack" for a bunch of optional content in ACT 1) , so it kinds balances it out.

Now if you're looking for truly OP stuff, how about Deadly Earth + Cloud kineticist combo which deletes everything on the screen? Especially if you stack multiple of them (like with Swarm or copy mercenaries?)
And this stuff trivializes the whole endgame, especially Inevitable Excess DLC, where a swarm kineticist can breeze through the whole thing at Unfair difficulty by pressing 4 buttons. (Deadly Earth, Cloud, Coup de Grace and Dismiss Magic)

Kineticist were always too broken. Even new sharpshooter just does way too much damage.
If you can live with micromanaging them all the time.

As for stacking curses for negative ac/ab. There are a lot of ways to do that, some even new and way more efficient.

Kineticist mentioned above sharpshooter can remove ♥♥♥♥ load of ac 10,15+ no sweat.
Madness domain on swift can clean up 7+AB and then even attack target and kill it,add archon aura on top and its killing machine in one round.
Inciter is one of new favorite classes, bard like, Aoe Song which gives sneak attacks , totem rage buffs , dispells all around to your party, while in the same time debuffing enemies.
New shapeshifters on the other hand dont even need any of it. They just trip target to death on their own. And walk it off. Or fly into their face and own them.

Act 1 is never easy. So yeah protective luck helps a lot to keep you alive from rolling 20. But in a few levels you will be way past that and casting protective luck is waste of time. Till you cast it , they are all dead already. You will also find that Woljif is a trick card at early levels. With his -2+(-2) ac debuff on attack he is primary source for easy boss picking

Major trick as you level up is to bump your initiative and wipe mobs in first turn while they are flatfooted. Witch gets slower and slower with each level. Investing in her initiative will lower her effectiveness and she wont be able to reach high initiative anyway. Enemies have like 30+ initiative at lvl 10+

Woljif is especially awesome once you realize that snowball targets touch AC, bypasses spell resistance, and can benefit from sneak attack damage/debuffs...
Yes, Act 1 is quite easy

Meh, I find Act 1 the hardest of everything. Everything after Act 1 is much easier. So you must think the rest of the game is a cakewalk then?
Yep, the Protective Luck and Fortune can be pretty useful. Just keep in mind you need to make DC ~45 saves and avoid +55 AB touch attacks on core, more than twice a round, so.. You know.. 'OP' is relative.
