Shouldn't they be neutral evil?

To provide non-evil hostile encounters, most likely. And it's not like banditry requires you to be evil anyway. Even the default human bandit bestiary entry in tabletop is chaotic neutral.

Is Robin Hood evil?

Is Dennis Moore of Monty Python fame evil? (Probably more like neutral-stupid in that case.) (munches on a lupin)

Sadly smite Evil/Chaos don't work against the generic Bandit. But they seem to stay true to pnp.

Yes, because he gave the peasants lupins instead of titian paintings and venetian glass.:steamhappy:

Don't have to be evil to rob people. However, in Kingmaker anyway most of them were Chaotic Neutral with the odd Neutral Evil. The marauders in this game were neutral however I spotted a few different alignments among them I think I remember

Wasn't Robin Hood's true intent to engage in guerilla warfare against an unjust tyranny?
