"Love" letter to Xanthir

Its great when you are enjoying core difficulty when time back you had to resort to story mode to overcome certain foes. Its great when you storm Ivory Sanctum and you dont need to rest to regain spells. Its great when you can get the achievement "End of the Eternal Guard" so easily despite some claims about it being hard. Its great when you overcome a couple of hard fights before Xanthir involving a lot of enemies and some mythic distorted fellas. Its great when you finally rest and get ready to face Xanthir whith all your might. Its great when you beat the crap out of Xanthir and your summons make his minions and his own summons a joke.
Its not so great when Xanthir turns into locust swarms and then you remember you dont have any swarmbane clasp. Its not so great when you realize you have brought clerics with no fire spells. Its also not so great when your rogue is polymorphed into a dog and you have no spells or scrolls to remove it. Its also not so great when that dog is ignored by the swarms and doesnt want to die so you could resurrect him. Its not so great when you realize you can harm the swarms (with 2-3 character) very little by little and it would take an eternity to beat that fight. Its not so great when is already 1:30 AM and you go through the epiphany: "I am screwed and its entirely my fault".

At 4:00 I was able to defeat the locust inclined guy.
This is my love letter to Xanthir. I love core mode, I love this game and mostly I love you are gone for good (in this playthrough at least) because some kinds of love are deadly.
