Any chance you've set your graphics higher than normal and just didn't realize?
My pc is pretty beefy, but I think I'll lower em just be to be sure.
I also went back and deleted some older saves, so hopefully with the new locallow folders, lower graphics and less saves for it to deal with, it should run a little better.
Are there any settings in particular that need should be lowered, like, are they any specific settings that cause some loading issues?
Was running another game (battletech with BTA3062 mod) and the load times between "missions" were so great that I was finding myself in need of other hobbies while I waited for the PC to load - by comparison, the load times in this game have never been bad enough where I feel the need to go do something else. Playing other games with really slow loading times really gives perspective on how tollerable this game's loading times are.
I would warn you not to save in combat, though. Aside from weird bugs, it has a lot of trouble loading save files that are in combat.
PS: the battletech one is also unity, I think the overall problem is that unity sucks, but kinda too late for either game to change.
specially if playing off an hdd
Aside from always having huge save files, the other downside would be that they'd be insanely easy to cheat by just editing the save file.
