Party themed ideas.
Saw someone on reddit make a comment with a party of spartans all shield/spear martials (kinda not very viable) and got me thinking about some themed parties that could actually sort of work or medium difficulties.

My idea was the knights of the round table party.

Condition - Everyone has to be a single class with a horse mount, no dipping.

Arthur - Paladin with mount
Merlin - Magus (Arcane rider)
Lancelot - Cavalier (Fearsome leader)
Perceval - Cavalier (Gendarme)
Gawain (Kinda the religious one, wanted to fit a healer but this is the closest i could find) - Wildland Shaman.

I thought Paladin could handle all the healing but stuck a mounted shaman in there to be more viable. Would like to make them all Humans but its a bit hard.

Anyone has cool ideas for a party? Please share, if somethings sticks out i will try to play throught the game with it :D

Have a nice day.

Two themed parties I have tried:

The no magic party, No spell-casting classes. All characters take Magic Nullification. Use Aeon for dispel magic.

The kitty party, All characters are Halflings with Leopards. I gave up on this because it was too much hassle keeping track of which Leopard was whose. Your 6 horsemen party could have the same problem.

The game's set of classes seems to fit the wheel of time main characters well.
you have blade masters (the sword lord builds, any of several ideas), spell casters with various focus that can loosely match the ajahs, bow master, bards and so on. Rand could be a magus or other gish type, probably best fits sword saint. Even perrin can find something with wolf scarred / animal companion / various wolf themed ideas.

Easy to fix, though.
just name pets after characters they belong to - hard to miss after that.

like "Lizzie's Pathfinder" and whatnot.

A witcher party would be easy to setup :

geralt : magus with brew potion (something like hexcrafter, or arcane rider for roach) or the arcanist slayer archetype.
jaskier : bard.
zoltan : fighter
yennefer/triss : arcanist (white mage if you need a healer), wizard or sorcerer.
ciri : magus for sure.

Or a lord of the rings party :

Aragorn : ranger (two handed spec).
gimli : fighter (axe)
legolas : fighter (bow + dual wield spec) or ranger.
gandalf : arcanist white mage.
frodo : rogue.
free spot for any other char (boromir as sword and shield fighter, another hobbit as rogue etc.).

Did that but still found it confusing.

Thanks to a Midnight Isles tailwind, I did a party of Kitsune that all passed for humans when in the company of others. I also did an all Damphir party with the MC going lich. It was not as good as I expected.

I think the Midnight Isle tailwinds encourage such parties.
I had fun doing a party that all dipped into Sable Marine to grab the hippogriff, then swapped to another of various pet classes to keep leveling up the mount.

6 hippogriffs is nuts.

It was dumb but I started a Mortal Kombat Lich run using Shang Tsung as MC with intent to go Legend and hiring a bunch of ninjas along the way. It was pretty fun making the hirelings as close to source material and still be effective. I screwed up some of the builds since I was pretty high when doing it and never went back since I would have had to restart the whole thing though. Also a lot of my builds were kind of similar with lots of xblooded sorc dips with bloodline ascendance to master a particular element. You build masters might do better or have more variety.

Lol that wall of chonky chicken

-----

Cat party! Everyone is a cat and some brought their own cat.
Pick and choose, this list is prolly incomplete:
Anyone that can cast Beast Shape II to become a cute cat; the main arcane casters, Druid and Alchemist (metamorph) Other casters can with Loremaster.
Shifter (weretiger)
With a Brownfur in the party every friend can become a kitty!

Bonus points for Druids and Loremaster dipping Clerics/Oracles/whatever that bring their own friend

I played that 6 WoW Orc party:

Garrosh : main char Bloodrager , demon path , greataxe
Thrall : Shaman with warhammer specialisation
Rokara : Slayer dual throwing axes , trickery focus
Rexxar : Ranger with bear Misha ( I know Rex is actually half ogre... ) , composite bow
Gul'Dan : Sorcerer necro focus
Rehgar : Shaman heal/ buff focus

was fun
