Question About Lepers Smile *Spoiler*
So, like a true selfish s.o.b I went in to Lepers Smile and looted the place clean before killing the Queen. As a result I gather that I lost a whole heap of my army. My question(s) is how is that represented practically on the crusade side of things? I got some story exposition that my men had been wiped out, but no actual details that I can find. Can I just buy some reinforcements and move on with my life or is the downside of allowing the army to get munched going to snowball and make progressing in the crusade too difficult?

I still have the option of restoring an older save, should I go back and choose a different path? I got some generic loot, not sure if it was worth it or not.

You can go on. It hurt a bit your crusade troops (more than a bit if you cleansed the area), but nothing you cannot recover from.
If memories serve you get a blow on army morale. Which can be annoying, I guess. Otherwise it doesn't do all too much outside of Galfrey thowing a tantrum later on.
TBH, i would just do it over unless you have to go back a long time. The only item in that part of leper's smile that is worth anything is the monk shirt and that does not count towards the counter for the crusade result. I found the most efficient result for leper's smile would be to run over to the left grab the shirt then go save the halfling in the chasm and then move in to kill the queen, then go underground and loot all the good stuff in the leper's smile caverns

Thanks everyone. There was a fantastic bow that applied bleed I picked up in there somewhere, but not sure exactly where. I'd love to keep that.

It's at the end near the queens body. You can redo safely and still get that item :)
