For the new evil gold dragon mythic option

How does this work with arushelae?

I only read about the dream sequence with the choice to corrupt her, then she leaves later but you can re-recruit her. Do I have to do it this way, cause if I keep her good she will simply leave cause I am evil?

Or can you simply not corrupt her and still keep her in your party even though I'm an evil path?

Don't bother. Corrupted Gold Dragon sadly cannot team up with demonified Arueshalae. She will treat you as a good Gold Dragon and becomes hostile upon encountering her. Only Lich, Trickster and Demon can get her as a companion. You will have better luck with standard Arueshalae.

As an aside, the devs botched Corrupted Gold Dragon up in making it True Neutral. Which is mind boggling for Chaotic Evil Dahak followers. *grumbles*

Non-corrupted Arue:
You can finish her story immediately after reclaiming Drezen - well before you can take the corruption options for Gold Dragon. That much is a fact, but the next part is just a guess: it seems unlikely she'll leave after having completed her story (but I could easily be wrong).

bruh im just expecting this as normal at this point, this is like one of the best ever rpgs to me in many ways but then they constantly keep that in check by being drunk while they are patching the game or purposely doing this stuff idk anymore

i am trickster too but i dont think ill be able to resist going into corrupt gold dragon who knows

well at least i know from the two replies my only option is keeping her good, i wonder about finishing her story immediately after capturing drezen tho. cause i got her the later way, where i cannot even recruit her until after capturing drezen.

Just be aware that there are virtually no differences between Gold Dragon and Corrupted Gold Dragon outside the aesthetics and mechanical abilities. There are no mythic quests that support roleplaying as an evil dragon past entering the side path. Nor do NPC's recognise you as a fallen gold dragon. Further muddling the waters.

You will likely get a better experience with a red Dragon Disciple and follower of Dahak on the Demon path. At least that way roleplaying evil is all but guaranteed by the plot.

not surprising either, but i got 600 hrs in this game and have not finished it once, lol, or reached the gold dragon mythic path powers, which is the main one i was trying for
