If there are different orders I can look up the location ...
If I remember correctly all four portals should light up at once, and prior to that you need to use your teleport to navigate.
I really hate these stupid puzzles. The DLC was fun up to that point ... even if most enemies just exploded on seeing me. That was its own kind of fun.
You enter the trap, learn teleporting, throw a lever that opens the rest of the dungeon ... find the machine bits to activate the two houses, repair the machine that let's you learn the combination for the giant dial, kill the super golem, find the semi-hidden platform that gives you the clue (and spawns the guards with the puzzle plates) to activating the machine that gives you the bonus power. ... Right before you get to the platform with the keystone you should find a lever that activates all four portals which you need to go through in the correct order to get some bonus loot.
But like I said, that's going off memory of a speedrun I did a few weeks ago so take it with a grain of salt.
I've run around everywhere I can reach, pulled each lever I can still pull, found the clock that way, that showed me the times. I did the clock puzzle before that, though, so nothing changed. I'm out of levers, loot and opponents. Found both houses and went in. The portals are inactive, not lit up, no button to click. There were buttons on them before, but not anymore.
I don't care about extra loot, I just want to continue the story. If anyone has an idea, please let me know.
Reading through this thread, I cannot figure out where you are. Have you found Ssila'meshnik? Can you post some screen shots of the map that you've explored?
Also if by "cheating" the puzzle you mean looking up the solution and solving it before fixing the clock, no, that doesn't break anything.
I got the mythic ability where enemies that don't make the will save explode. Maybe that's what happened and I would have needed to talk to it to advance?
I met and killed the creature that said something about protecing this area and me, and forced me to kill it, but giving me the gloves before.
Yes, I simply looked up the solution, I run no mods.
Huh, found a ledge I hadn't been after all. With a mechnaism that made the portals light up. Let's see how it goes from here. Thanks, anyway. Wish me luck ;-)
The final area you're looking for (leads to the story encounter that progresses the game) is at the end of this video. The final "jump" to the area is at about 53:50. The beginning of the video is when I first entered Other Side of Threshold. It's a let's play (i.e. not a guide), so it'll probably be difficult to follow. Also, this was made shortly after the release, so it'll look different than the current version. I think the changes are mostly cosmetic.

Anyway, I'm out of that puzzle. :-)
Then I thought "Hey, that works better, I can do that by myself". Silly me.
I'm stuck again, no idea how to get to the boss fight(s) and guides don't help me, because I didn't follow them right from the start, so I have no idea where I am so to speak.
Just reading the guides make my brain shut down, since they're telling me, without a map, what I should do and where. Without a map I have no idea where that's all supposed to be. Video guides don't help, either. Cause again, they don't show the group's position on the map. (found yours, Forkofspite, sorry, still doesn't help.)
I'd rather try a difficult fight 20 times than run back and forth uselessly in a big freaking puzzle.
1) Jump up to a big platform to the south. In the southwest corner of this platform, there are three interactions labeled A, B, and C.
2) From the southeast corner of that platform, jump up to a new platform to the east. This is a small, 4-hex platform with a lever and a portal. Flipping the level lowers a section leading south from the original entry point to Other Side of Threshold. It also activates the portal which takes you back to that original platform.
3) Go back to the original platform (portal, or walk/jump yourself - shouldn't matter), and head south along the new section. At the end of that section, jump up to the east. At the end of that section, jump up to the east again. At the end of that part, jump up to the south.
4) Head south towards the center of this huge platform. You have arrived at your destination.
I can see a platform with a mechanism that I haven't switched, but no idea how to get there.
