Respec / Sylvan Trickster advice?
This is my first ever Pathfinder experience, and I'm still quite early on - lvl5, about to attack the Grey Garrison. I realize I've made some poor choices on my main character as I've been leveling, but I don't wanna restart from scratch because I've been very thorough on my adventure.

Is there any way to respec in the future? I'd love to make a few changes to my stats and weapon training. If not, I'll just live with it I suppose, but I would like some advice on how to build a good Rogue - Sylvan Trickster. Any advice would be welcome!

Unless you're playing on core or harder, you can respec as soon as you get in the tavern, so it's already available to you. You need to speak to Hilor, he will offer total respec fora char against some gold. He'll be in the "headquarter" area of each chapter (except chapter 4 because of plot, but there will be another npc available for this task in that chapter).

Before going to the garrison just talk to him and redo your char.

That said, about respec, don't abuse of it. Some abilities can be broken by respec (there is just to much abilities to be 100% sure there won't be a bug when removing some properties from a char.).

Sylvan Trickster is not really a Rogue as you see him. This class is more like 3 level a dip for a Dex tank, due to Iceplant hex via Fey Tricks and full Weapon Finesse + Finesse Training + Evasion.
Still, depending on the difficulty, you can multiclass your Sylvan Trickster into something and make him a decent tank.

Aw, man! I totally misunderstood that. I spoke to him once before and when I selected the training thing, it looked like I was making an entirely new character. I guess it really lets you totally remake whatever you're playing then, if you want? Or perhaps I chose the wrong option. Either way, I'm in the garrison now, I'll speak to him at the next opportunity! Thanks for clarifying!

It's actually both. Hilor can add a new henchman character to the party and respec characters.
