Perception check in Ineluctable Prison? Maybe spoilers?

There's a perception check along the northern outer wall of Ineluctable prison, DC 32. All that happens when you succeed is it says "You hear someone breathing nearby, as if there's someone extremely close, but unseen.". Does this actually do, or indicate, anything? Is it just there to be mildly creepy?

Edit: I should mention everyone has See invisibility and True Sight active, yes both, and nothing is showing up.

You need to go there after you cleared up Prison. Just finished this yesterday, had the same question :D

After you beat the boss fight you can go there and all of a sudden there is a visable entity :)

You can go there after you cleared the area boss. You need to pass this check for secret ending, and do some talking. There is also a 'secret' boss nearby, which is worth doing :)
