Throwing weapon specialist - STR/DEX? based
Is there any way to build hrowing weapon specialist - to hit is only DEX based i assume but all throwing axes apply damage rolls based on STR.

Having underground chemist or some alchemist flavour is the best approach? Or start with some fighter class (Cult Leader again cause its weapon dice improvement and fighter feats) and pick up a starting regional background what gives +1 to hit with throwing axe

if you wanna go afk while managing the others, go fighter 17stg/18dex, if you wanna get cool skills i would say go hunter, divine hunter gets you a free domain, and the animal companion

Some weapons have modifiers on them that switch out Dex and Str I forgot the key words used to describe these weapons but compound bows of any kind for example use a characters Str modifier over their dex.

I did Wendaug as a dual throwing axe wielder. Four levels of fighter to unlock specialization and get ahead on feats, then shifted her over to Spawn Slayer to add sneak attack and other bonuses. Was pretty great.

Yeah that is why i started to wonder - though i started her as spawn slayer right away, tried her with Cult Leader but there were not enough feats for her.

Wonder if going underground chemist or alchemist has any synergy - basically you can throw your bombs and if they run out you revert back to axe

With fighter take weapon finesse feat, fighter training in throwing weapons, fighters finesse training, then mythic weapon finesse. You should be able to make any weapon finesse based attack and damage with that combo, just swap the throwing weapons for any other group you want finessed.

3 feats:)
If no feat shortage then add
two weapon fighting, rapid shot, advanced two weapon fighting and you have 4 axe attacks. Penalties are punishing though - two weapon -2 and rapid shot -2.

Yeah you have to get to mythic 6 just to get rid of all that with 3 mythic feats needed including mythic finesse

People like to rag on fighter for being boring, but when you're trying to do something that needs a ton of feats it's one of the best choices. If it's your MC you get so many abilities and spells from your mythic path anyway.

Rogue can also do it - you can pick needed feats from rogue talents as well and get sneak attacks to boot but even more problems with bab i guess.

But seems it could be done - a windmill of axes, though it seems the accuracy will be a problem with all these penalties from the feats (rapid shot, two weapon fighting)

Rogue is a bug. Rogue Talent should be only allowed to be used once for a feat.

I'm pretty sure rouge only lets you take finesse training for weapons labeled as finesse. Fighter lets you convert any group of weapons into finesse

At a minimum you would need enough levels in fighter (5 or maybe 6 if you take fighters training as an extra feat) to convert the weapon to finesse, then go rouge the rest.

OK - tried it with my 5 lvl char respeccing to mutation warrior and getting fighter finesse+

Just tried it with Mutation Warrior and Fighters Finesse applies only to melee weapons:(

Mythic Weapon Finesse says - when using weapon finesse, but weapon finesse only applies to light weapons - OK throwing axes ARE light weapons so Mythic Finesse should actually work:)

The only decent reason i can think of why you would want to go throwing weapons over bows is probably some sort of rage mechanic since rage bonuses apply to melee and throwing weapons but not bows.

The powerlevel of some of the bows in the game is pretty nuts tho. In chapter 5 you can get one from the traveling merchant that according to its description should convert your mobility ranks into damage bonus (so legit +20 damage if it actually works). I've not seen throwing weapons that are as crazy as that. Maybe someone else can chip in?

Kinda nuts.

Warpriest in general is a great class. Those selfbuffs are very respectable. And then maybe you can access rage via skald. Kinda does better as a str melee tho.

The though process is to get more attacks off than bows do. You take Rapid Shot AND two-weapon fighting so with Improved 2 weapon fighting you have now 4 attacks (bows have 3 at the same time)

I do not claim that i am in the process of making some uber class, just wondering what game could do with certain classes:)
