About the world map, Worldwound and Crusade

Can someone tell me why the demons only seem to attack in one direction(Mendev) from the Worldwound? Are there other nations to the west, north, and south of the Worldwound?
Do they get mentioned somewhere? Is the Worldwound considered to belong to Mendev?

There's a full worldmap since Golarion is the primary Pathfinder tabletop P&P campaign setting.
Directly south is Numeria, where the stuff in Blackwater is from. West is the Realm of the Mammoth lords. North is just permafrost.

Mendev actually used to own and occupy much of the area surrounding the worldwound before it became corrupted and so the crusaders of Mendev became the demons sworn enemy and thats why the demon forces focuses on them so much. There are nations to the south but they mostly only watch events unfold and to the west are the mammoth lords who cant openly challenge the demons but do fight in skirmishes.
