That is less a question about assassins and more about opporturnists and mercenaries. If you kept Greybor or Wenduag as angel, then you can let them live as well.

I felt that lawful would be to take them down (unless you rationalize that such organizations are part of an orderly society in the Abyss, which is fair). Good has more flexibility- you can take Ember's approach to good as 'do no harm,' and just try and keep them from doing evil and not working directly with them, or you can take the Paladin-style "Good fights all evil."

D&D is a bit weird- if it has an evil subtype or alignment, righteous warriors are generally justified in fighting them on that basis alone. But there are other philosophies too. Shelyn, a good deity, would try and win them over as long as it's possible, while Iomedae probably wouldn't mind a fight, so you get to choose your own preference.

good point, thought wenduag is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead by now, and greybor is sitting just acumulating dust over the corner

what do you think that a sarenrae follower would do?

probably something about spare them and let them live, since if they are dead they can't repent, and since there are no demons there too...
