Arueshalae deleted scene (spoilers?)

I read on reddit the other day that there was a scene with Arue, after she returns to her natural state, where you go to visit her and she greets you by waving a gnawed newborn's arm at you.

I also read that it was only in the Beta.

Was I being trolled? Was this in the Beta? Is it in the current game? And most importantly: why the Hell did they take this particular piece of awesome out?!!!!!

I know there is still Wendy and Cammy out there murdering, but I can't get enough of the evil gals. Murder waifus for laifu.

Ackshaellae... as comments explain Arueshalae didn't eat flesh. I'm inclined to believe it's not a lie either, because Succubi are soul-draining demons, not "let blood, blood, blood be your motto" type. Now, eating souls is just as bad, but FWIW it does feel somewhat less disturbing.

Dreams or no dreams, Lawful alignments may have Arushaelae see the dawn of Drezen with her mouth full of flies just like any other demon. Annoying Desna may, however, be unwise. As certain demon lord named Aolar knows well... therefore redemption waifu it is.

We'll never know, but my head canon says she lied about it for a few reasons:

-Is she gonna be the only "vegetarian" succubus in the Abyss? (all the other succubi seem to eat it in addition to souls. It's like never eating chicken for her)
-The VA uses a moderately embarrassed and rushed tone of voice for that line, implying she's lying (even though she's good now, she earlier said lying still comes easy to her)
-She's famous around the Abyss for being especially vicious. Would that really be the only atrocity she never tried, especially after being alive for hundreds of years?
-The guy who offered his slave for her to eat was her boyfriend for decades. Wouldn't he know what she likes/liked to eat? (this ones the kicker for me)

I think the writers just changed it to placate the top text guys in the meme I linked, since in the beta she does, in fact, say she used to but doesn't anymore. Keep lying to yourselves, fellas, but us chads accept women for who they are.

It wouldn't be that she's never tried, it's probably like... hmm, instant ramen vs Golden Reserve caviar. Let the uncultured rabble chomp on flesh like crazed beasts, her tastes would be... more refined. Sure, if corrupted or denied redemption, she would totally go for ramen, too, for all the years she'd "fasted".

At least she has a good reason - she's a fffin' demon, a living embodiment of evil human souls and their vices. I find the entire redemption thing to be handwaving for story purposes. Weren't planar beings supposed to be one-dimensional and unable to be anything but by their very nature? Not sure if Desna herself could bend laws of the universe like that.

Maybe - just maybe! - it is, as you say, all little lies and whitewash. But because there are no normal waifus in the game (no, Dunce Galfey is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ not!), even us - uh... you'd say poor manlets, yes? - have to make compromises.

You didn't know that it's canon in the Pathfinder universe for any hot girl, no matter how evil, to totally redeem herself on a whim after a few weeks of refraining from murder? Not even from killing, she can still kill all the bad people her heart desires. Just look at Nocticula. Or even Nyrissa from the last game. The game practically insists you offer her redemption literally ten minutes after she finishes murdering Linzi.

Yeah, I could never imagine romancing Galfrey to be even a little fun. Give me the demoness, the serial killer, or the social Darwinist monster girl over that stick in the mud any day. It'll probably be all missionary in the dark with most of your clothes on.
