you have no crowd control, so you should probably go get some crowd control
if you don't have a character with grease spell then get yourself a grease scroll or a few of them
not sure if you have access to a wizard at that point in the game (its been awhile), but I really cant stress strongly enough just how much you will need CC for the rest of the game
the recommended builds for most of the cast are fine on normal, but you will still have some gaps in your party capabilities if you don't go out of your way to fill them yourself
failing grease, you might have some alchemy / acid pots on hand, put them on all your characters and get the enemies to pile up in one spot and hit them all at once with some aoe, its shoddy compared to actual spells but should be fine for level 4
just use consumables(scrolls/wands/pots) then
the first section of the game is sort of a training area as things get progressively more wild and more BS, this fight is what you should expect (and much, much worse) from the rest of the game
you're going to have to develop a party composition that can handle it, and even with limited resources at the start of the game you still need to juggle your resources and abilities
just taking a quick look you mention you only have 5 party members
you should have 6 party members, and I am like 90% certain nenio(wizard) is available at that point in the game, so you should go get her
yeah you should probably use her until you can make a mercenary wizard yourself, certain wizard spells are incredibly powerful early game and can help you out a lot
EDIT: It's difficult, but not impossible to get to 6th lvl before entering the Gray Garrison. Usually you will be 5th lvl, But 4th lvl is too low.
Level 4 is the main problem for OP for sure not party composition. Cam gets skeletons lvl 5 i think.
Nenio is the only pure arcane caster companion (in this case wizard). The only other one is Woljif, who isn't a pure caster (he is an eldritch scoundrel). And since you only mention 5 party members, you either missed getting him (he is in the basement of the tavern) or you are running a smaller party for some reason. You should also have Daeran (an oracle) as well.
Ok, so first off Level 4 is way too low to be going through the Grey Garrison. You should be between level 5 and 6 by time you launch the assault, which means you either missed or skipped a substantial amount of encounters and/or gear on the way. As others have said, you should have six members by this point but are only mentioning five, so on top of being underleveled and probably undergeared you're running with fewer hands on deck than you should be. No wonder you're having trouble, anyone would. Especially since the fight with Jeslyn is kind of a skill-check to see if you're ready to move beyond Act 2. She can be skipped without worse penalty than loss of loot and xp, but later encounters will not be so forgiving and you don't want to make a habit of skipping anything.
I presume by "recommended builds" you mean you've left your party doing the auto-levelup thing rather than customizing them to suit your needs. If that's the case you're kinda borked and need to roll back to a previous save outside the garrison. The recommended builds arn't as terrible as the min-maxers here would have you belive, but they're not going to be strong enough to pull you out of this fight either, let alone the ones to come afterwards. Crowd Control and buffing support from casters is mandatory in the game, you will lose often without them. Don't have to use Daeran and Nenio if you don't want to, but you will need mercenaries from Hildor that fulfill those same roles of support.
