-_-.... this is annoying of all games slyph is the most declined one to exist is because putting flying in here is impossible in the game?

It's not impossible, developers just don't like to implement flying, for some reason. And I don't just mean these developers, I mean developers in general. Most games with "flight" actually just have jetpacks (with minimal fuel) or fancy gliding.

You can have wings in this game, BTW, just not flight.

Well, one of your companions is a succubus. Winged of course. And you yourself can get wings either via aasimar racial feats or certain mythic paths. Angel, demon, devil, azata and gold dragon all receive wings as part of their progression.

Flying itself isn't really a thing. But at least they make you immune to fall damage from failed skill checks and such.

I imagine they'd need to redesign level designs and enemy design just for this one mechanic to work reasonably. Not worth it.

Simplest way for making use of wings (outside of combat) would be to introduce flying spots. Similar to the already present climbing spots for Athletic/Mobility checks. This for instance could have doubled as an alternative to teleportation spells for reaching otherwise inaccessible rooftops during act 4.
