"Choice Effects"
I suspect this will be a minority opinion but does anyone else think that including the Choice Effects for crusade decisions was a mistake? I know people cried a lot about it in the first one, but it really does turn making a decision based on the arguments of your advisers and what you think makes the most sense for the Crusade into a cold calculus based on some numbers in a tooltip.

You listen to the head councilor, you ask your advisers for their opinions, you read their opinions carefully... and then you mouse over "Choice Effects" and get a tooltip with numbers which you compare to other numbers.

I think it was a loooot more immersive when you had to decide what you thought was the best decision without always fully understanding the exact numerical significance. A lot more realistic, too.

My suggestion would be to have a difficulty setting where these tooltips are enabled or disabled, and have it become disabled by default on Core or harder.

Difficulty settings are always nice to have & are optional.

About choices - i was just choosing what i liked more. All depends on a player and your goals :)

Can definitely understand that. But in the end it is the players decision:

Do I make a roleplay decision - or a gameplay decision?

Checking all options often shows that there is not really a lot min maxing. All are rather "ok" in the end. It doesnt feel like you can pick a lot of bad options there.

I hated the Kingmaker system, especially when the roles went bad or when problems popped up in the worst situations. It felt way to punishing. This one here feels too rewarding (?) like there is no negative stuff at all.

Some kind of mix would be nice.

If the choice effects were not there, I would be upset lol.

can some one tell me if the Law good or evil tags in them change you or the crusade?

I'd be more annoyed if my advisors couldn't at least give me a ballpark estimate as to the impact each decision. Hard to make informed decisions when you're not given information *coughKingmakercough*

Right, I completely understand why a lot of folks like this which is why I think it should have an option slider. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to put in but I know they have a lot on their plate, what with the actual bugs.

I am glad they are there tbh, given how long this game is I don't like the thought of making decisions with no idea of the consequences and be stuck in some hole 60 hours later. Give me the facts plain and simple. My 2 cents
