You can even set it up to 10 quicksaves and autosaves too i believe in the options
Make both of those 10 :) Better safe than sorry due to the bugs in later chapters
I am on my first playthrough halfway through act 5 and WOTR save files are 1,85 GB. On the C drive. Thats why its a problem ( for me at least due to limited C drive space).
Because by the time I finish I will be between 2 - 2,5 GB , to say nothing about future characters.
No I mean the total of all my saves. Each save is now approximately 22 MB and increases in size the more I progress.
Yes I know there are a lot of manual saves on top of autosaves and quicksaves but honestly who can blame anyone for keeping backups. Afaik the corrupted save issue is still ongoing

I'm one of those people who finish a Skyrim run with over 800 saves, so I understand.
Basically, I just periodically go to the directory and wipe all the saves previous to about the most recent five manual saves.
