Important things to do before Defender's Heart battle?
So far I have:

Pick up Woljif / Finnean / Ember / Storyteller and Daeran?

Anything else? Anything that will not be available after?

Thank you!

(Nenio I don't care about)

In my personal opinion, Storyteller is the important one since those priests can give you 1.5 hour long haste for Grey Garrison (should last you all the way to the confrontation with Minagho).

Ember is a Pollyanna nukewitch (once you put Salamander on her) with acceptable utility (through hexes) but no other potential build paths. Daeran is by far the best healbot (though he's positive energy, so not so great for undead / Dhampirs), and although it's harder work for him than for Camellia, he *can* be built to be an acceptable combatant (roughly on par with Sosiel as a tank). You basically pick up Ember on your way to unlock Daeran anyway, so it's not much of a choice between those two.

The actual choice is between Daeran and Woljif since Woljif's quest is the most out-of-the-way (requiring at least two trips to the north of Defenders' Heart). By the time you clear most of the Market to get to Daeran, you might be cutting it close on time unless you're moving very efficiently or playing on easy mode.

Why pick Woljif / Finnean? Because he's the only lock picker / trap disabler that is compatible with anyone who isn't an absolutely psychotic, heinous evil sociopath monster, and he's better at his job than Camellia while also being a stronger combat presence. Finnean comes along as a bonus while doing Woljif's quest, and having a guaranteed cold iron + ghost-touch weapon of literally whatever kind you need is decently handy for a while. Woljif is also an entertaining personality. Camellia ... isn't.

You can probably reasonably get all the above before three days if you hurry on Normal mode. Don't waste money on trinkets. Buy healing supplies (scrolls are cheaper than potions) instead. *NONE* of the trinkets sold in Defenders' Heart are worth their price tag with the sole exception being *maybe* the nuker gloves and Dark Omen ring - *maybe*.

So then you get to ask yourself if you feel lucky. Because the Gwerm mansion / Tirabade Residence aren't especially profitable to raid. The Tirabades' house in particular has an extremely dangerous and vicious fight against a succubus who is potentially a TPK at that point if she lands her dominate on a strong warrior - use Protection From Evil to prevent that.... Gwerm mansion is a lot more xp and total loot value, and necessary for Camellia's story if you give a ♥♥♥♥ about her at all but also has several fights in it, which might tax your resources to clear in a timely manner without resting if your party isn't particularly strong in combat yet.

Therefor, I recommend doing the Tower Of Estrod instead of Tirabade / Gwerm. Because Greybor is awesome, and the loot a mithral chain shirt +2 (!!!) and a good bow is worth the one little fight. Push the pillar on the right to start the fight off with fewer enemies.

Topaz Solutions did not seem worth anything to me. The alchemist throwing acid bombs in there is absolutely vicious if you don't know what's coming, and the reward just isn't relevant as anything but cash. The other side location I don't remember the name. It has a good reward and is a single short fight close to Tower Of Estrod so go do that one.

If you're worried about Mythic Path unlocks, I know of three, and at least one of them you miss if you wait until after the tavern is attacked.

Trickster - you need to convince the cultists in the library to help you sabotage Grey Garrison, if you show up too late, they're gone. You need an extremely high Perception, Persuasion and possibly Athletics.

Aeon - is in the Market, you need to interact with the blue constellation glitter

Azata - you must find all three of the Desnan apprentices after talking with Ramien in the north of the Market. One comes up and tells you about the other two, one is in Daeran's mansion and she tells you about the third who is disguised as a crusader in the Market (near the entrance) but you can't trigger them until after talking to the one who is performing in Daeran's mansion. Then go to the Desna temple and sing with them.

the fight in the tower is pure optional and i guess it changed nothing at all and storyteller is still there after the fight. Guess some other character dies there
Im pretty sure ive read that you need to pick up Ember, Daeran and Woljif before.

Only way to get trickster unlocked is in that tower to trick them i believe, which I forgot to do for the achievement, had all the others unlocked except trickster guess ill get it on my 3rd playthrough then

Library before the defence is 1)the only opportunity for one of mythic unlocks and 2)gets you by far the most powerful support squad for Grey Garrison. Tower just lets you meet Greybor early and see a bit of story. I also heard it gives you extra time before the attack on the tavern, but no confirmation on that.

This is wrong, you can still trick them after, that's how I got it in my playthrough, but the crusaders will be nice and crispy.

I'm playing Angel. So Ill do:

1. Pick up all party members
2. Go to library for the support squad
3. Do tower if I have time

I think that should cover it?

I recommend doing tower right after Market / picking up Daeran. You have to cross Market to get to the library anyway, which means you're close to Estrod after you finish Market / do Daeran's mansion. The tower's loot is worth the hour or two side trip to snag it and double back to the market before you can continue to library.

Ok so:

Woljif's quest for Finnean (I even have Finnean in my portrait... can't miss him :P)
Market for Ember
Daeran's place for Daeran
Tower of Estrod for loot
Library for Storyteller

*Fingers crossed*

That's a very weird team choice for an angel. Reggie is absolutely evil, and while Daeran is evil too, he clashes with Angel mostly later on. Lann is easy going for the most part but clashes with Woljif because, well, Woljif is a deadbeat liar and chaotic thief. You won't get Arueshalae until Drezen if you unlock her early, and Woljif is AWOL at that time, so you will have to bring someone who can handle traps / locks for Lost Chapel and Drezen both until you can find Woljif again.

I definitely advise you against picking Camellia as an angel, because she is... a serial killer cannibal who literally gets off on eating people alive. She's the only default companion alternative to Woljif in terms of thief skills, so you might have to make a mercenary if you can't handle those skills yourself.

I've played up to Ch. 4 in the Beta. My Angel is a LG Hell Knight and he is mostly in agreement with Reggie. Hadn't clashed with Daeran till that point we got along pretty well (and my beloved did ask me to take her cousin along) My other healer options were Ember (my character views her as child) and Sosiel who can't shut up about how much he hates Hell Knights with TWO of them standing RIGHT THERE.

As for Camellia I keep her for rp reasons then chop her head off in the basement in Drezen and replace her with Arue

Edit: Now that I think of it I disagreed with Regill just once all the way to Ch. 4. Picking up Arue was the only issue we had.
