On the cusp of the abyss, no option to talk to herald after getting the key?

On the cusp of the abyss, no option to talk to herald after getting the key?

My quest log tells me that now I should talk to the Herald of Iomedae and let him know I have a way through the doors. I return to Drezden, but he has no additional dialogue options.

Anyone else? I saw a post on the Owlcat forums, but no help from the team there :(

Basically I cannot proceed forward in the game without being able to complete this.

And yes I do have the key and I did everything I could in the Ivory sanctum.

Any ideas? Am I screwed at this point?

There are 2 keys in the mines section. You need both for him to let you do that. (why you need both becomes obvious only after the cutscene triggers). There is a non-obvious second area in the mines where the second key is. Either near a dying succubus or past Suture. (depending on which key you already found.)

That's in Act 4, he's talking about Act 3.

Unfortunately I got the key well before Ivory Sanctum and haven't seen this issue reported before. Report a bug in game, rest in Drezen (it can clear some stuff) and maybe do other quests and hope some flag flips.

I completed Ivory Sanctum before I did the Lab quest. I wonder if that messed things up?

I fixed it, I don't know why it worked...but:

I just walked my party all the way back to Ivory Sanctum, entered the area, left, then walked back to Drezen, now the dialogue option is there!
