You rly wanna use all your saved scrolls and potions for that encounter. Buff as much as you can.
- protection from arrows helps
- concealment, blur, mirror images
- protection from evil, etc
- death wards, etc
Imo try to take out the Meatball first, he does some nice dmg. Try to focus max 2 opponents at a time if you lack dmg/lvl/etc.
1 of the best events in the game btw after you beat it - you feel very satysfied. But ye it's nice to buy all the stuff you need before that, but nothing super essential there as i remember.
I finished the battle very early to save Suture. It was the probably hardest and longest battle I had. It is best to take out the traders one by one, instead by fighting them all at once. Starting from a point of the map where most enemies cannot see you, helps you to build an advantage. I did it from the bottom. The Pathfinder society might aid you if you donated.
Keep trying to lure the enemy down so you can beat the enemies in waves.
Beware. Once all guards are down there are spawning some more horros from the upper right.
The best strategy is to tank the heavy hitters, while throwing fireball after fireball and having as many summons as possible help you.
