How does one make vast quantities of money?
Hey folks, I was wondering how all of you make you money in order to buy expensive weapons/armor or pay for resources for your campaign? At this point in the game I am heading in to Leper's Smile for the first time.
I have Toy box so I COULD just give myself money, but I would rather try and make it semi-legit. In Kingmaker I had mods to craft magic items/armor and could craft those and sell them generally for a profit, but vendors tend to buy things super discounted so it is hard to make profit.
Does it get easier to get rich later on? When a single weapon can cost like 70k and I am squeaking by at 25-30k, it is a little silly when a single weapon costs 10x more than hiring a general for your army, or paying thousands of soldiers.

Act 1 and 2 you feel quite poor but after act 3 you generally get a ton of money and after act 4 you don't know what to spend it on.

I'm sitting on 2 million gold idk what to do with. And that's AFTER dumping about 600k into crusade resources. Basically just sell all the equipment and items you don't plan on using and you'll inevitably end up filthy rich.

loot everything and dump them at the shop owners
All those Master work Glavie and master work daggers and master work weapons give tons of money

More bad guys more loot, turn it up in the options.

I currently have more than 4 million gold, chapter 5. But, there are more problems. Cannot find traders where I can buy some really good stuff, and I cannot find any decent heavy armor for my character (I am using one from chapter 3). In Kingmaker, there was that trader at the Pitax tournament where you could spend all the gold you have for good stuff. I will be very dissapointed if that is not the case here.

I really wish they would stop spawning the 1-6g items at like level 10ish cause they're just a waste of space at that level

Just sell all magical items you don't need, don't stockpile them. There is easily ~300K worth of loot in acts 1-2 alone. That said, you're not supposed to actually buy everything you want from traders that early.

Act 4 seemed to be the "get rich" act. So, so many drops of +1, +2, +3 and +4 gear that you can keep selling for lots of money. Of course, just selling all loot that you don't actually use is a good way to get rich even before then, but selling off named items just doesn't feel right.

No to mention that the "good" stuff is like a +3 longsword with a low save ability that does an elemental attack everyone is resistant to... 60k... please. Might as well invest in diamonds and hope the glaive market collapses.
