Do we ever figure out who Crinukh is?

This little kobold is mysterious. I like kobolds so I have no issues with him, but he's ever so evasive about who he is..

everything about him implies he's something else entirely, but I cannot get him to spill the beans, and I just finished Iz.

Is there a timed quest or something that touches this? is it post game? Or are they just a completely unanswered question?

My need to know is extreme.

He's think he's just Deekin 2.0, kind of like how Irabeth is Aribeth 2.0. There seems to be a lot of that in the game actually, like the area that's just like the Illithid Lair in BG2, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't much depth to him beyond being inspired by something from an earlier CRPG.
