Is it worth getting Engineer’s workshop before building anything else?
Topic. At start of act 3.

that's the one that reduces all costs by 10%, yeah?

personally, I've found that the bottleneck resource is the building points, the crystal stuff is basically infinite and the finance point are abundant enough

things I wish I had known ahead of time:

you can build more than one building at the time

at tier 2 logistic, you unlock a building that increases other buildingsproduction, so on your outpost, don't put the supply depot and the inn next to each other

Yes lowers the cost. Is it worth building it at first before all other buildings?

I think it is, if you can spare the money. It'll pay for itself by the end of the act. However, it didn't seem particularly important, so if you want to skip it, I don't see it being a problem. Like, technically yes it is valuable, but the amount you save/lose is fairly insignificant in the long run, when you're making hundreds of thousands of gold for your party through the campaign.
