Just make sure to reveal her before she finishes casting.
100% this. Protection from Alignment spells are super good for this and other fights with Succubi or other mind controlling enemies. Too bad the Communal version's duration is so short.
I was doing a crusade fight and a succubus mind controlled my stack of 1k Rangers and it was more dangerous to my units than any enemy ever was lmao.

In game, I also tested the run-in with the succubus and the target straight-up becomes immune to the dominate attempt too.
That is definitely good to know!
It shouldn't automatically protect from charms. It should only give bonus+advantage on saves.
The potion description does, but the actual spell has nothing in the description saying as much, which was what I was talking about.
It doesn't say so in the description, but it straight up makes people immune to domination specifically, now. It also says this is what protection from alignment is meant to do in PnP, but this wasn't true ingame until now. It never worked this way in Kingmaker.
Let’s avoid being too pedantic here. I just want to provide OP with the answers. And one of them is with consumables. I am just pointing out that OP can see the description from the consumables section.
This is not directed at you to state you’re wrong. But it is to supplement your answer with the consumable options. That is why i didn’t quote you. For the initial post at least.
Grease is enough to carry you through chapter 1. Added bonus if you have a slumber hex or two in party.
You are taking the piss, right? Endless Slumber is a level 10 ability ...
Fair enough; as was I in regard to supplementation. I was just making the distinction between the consumable and the actual spell to avoid confusion, since you never did in your post besides with the picture. One could assume you meant both otherwise, and that could be a bit confusing considering that a lot of debate on the discussions right now is mostly a case of he-said/she-said.
Regular Slumber works just as well. Although if you're doing that strategy, you'll probably have to reload a bunch because the succubus has a pretty high will save.
