Not even from the shield spell. It's just a hard coded immunity.
Currently, ray builds do the most damage per turn; ~800+ damage per turn, if you get a crit it gets to over 1,5k and you can do them on basically any class that has access to hellfire ray.
Well that is a rather unfortunate problem. I wasn't aware there were BS like that in the game.
So even with Metamagic and specialization focus its still subpar huh. Thats a bummer.
Well, the most you can get without gold dragon is maximized 5d6+1... buuuuuut, there is magic missles' big brother; battering blast, which you can bump to 20d9, or 25d9(if you get to CL25) and it functions like literally big magic missle.
More tips are welcome.
Gold dragon rises dice to 1d10, not 1d6. (at max mythic level)
One is a ring, another is a quarterstaff and another one is a pseudo metamagic rod (not actually metamagic)
Just take a dip in a sneak attack class and go from there.
