Magic Missile build help.
So i need some advice on a build that focuses on Magic missile, My mythic path will be Trickster or Azata i know that much, but the rest? im not sure. I did consider Magus or one of the stabby classes because i like the idea of poking someone´s eye out if they get too close but i dont think they will get enough casts per day or strong enough MM.

I wouldn’t recommend building solely on magic missile. It does minimal damage and a simple shield spell negates it entirely.

There are a bunch of boss enemies that are just immune to magic missile too.

Not even from the shield spell. It's just a hard coded immunity.

If you want magic missle to do anything in late game you need to become gold dragon for higher dices regardless. You will get to 9+ casts per rest easily, regardless of class. Magic Missle won't do enough damage to kill anything later on though, fodder mobs have like 200+ hp.
Currently, ray builds do the most damage per turn; ~800+ damage per turn, if you get a crit it gets to over 1,5k and you can do them on basically any class that has access to hellfire ray.

Well that is a rather unfortunate problem. I wasn't aware there were BS like that in the game.

So even with Metamagic and specialization focus its still subpar huh. Thats a bummer.

Well, the most you can get without gold dragon is maximized 5d6+1... buuuuuut, there is magic missles' big brother; battering blast, which you can bump to 20d9, or 25d9(if you get to CL25) and it functions like literally big magic missle.

Oh right, that Big boi spell, i guess i could go MM and BB since they dont use the same slots right? essentially giving me more spells to cast per day. Thanks for the tip.

More tips are welcome.

Gold dragon rises dice to 1d10, not 1d6. (at max mythic level)

Yeah, but keep in mind BB really pops around CL15 once you get 3rd ball, on the bright side, BB deals force damage that can deal precision damage and even crit, most damage I got from BB was around 300 in 1 turn, can't come close to ray-casters but still, it's something.

There are also at least 3 magical items which boost dmg of spells/force spells/magic missle by +1/2 per die.
One is a ring, another is a quarterstaff and another one is a pseudo metamagic rod (not actually metamagic)

I don't think they meant the bloodline but rather the mythic path

Oooooooh, well im not familiar with the later Mythic Paths but ill take that into consideration.

If you're going Trickster, have you considered going ranged touch spells instead and taking advantage of sneak attacks? You can get some pretty hefty damage off a cantrip that way with unlimited casts and only having to hit touch AC.

Just take a dip in a sneak attack class and go from there.
